ONLINE OSHA TRAINING & SECURITY GUARD TRAINING SCHOOL

Due to the disruption caused by COVID-19 Guardian Group Services has been one of the very first security guard schools approved by the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services to teach all of the security guard certification courses online - the 8 Hour Pre-Assignment Training class, the 16 hour On-The-Job Training, and the 8 Hour Annual In-Service Training course for security guards, via ZOOM.
The 8-hour Pre-Assignment Course is required by New York State in order to obtain a security guard card from the New York State Department of State. The 16 Hour O-J-T is required 90 days after starting work as a security guard. The In-Service class is for the annual renewal of your NYS Security license.
Our security guard instructors teaching this live interactive online training program are all security professionals, experienced, and most importantly certified by NYS DCJS.

Licensed security personnel and security services are now more in demand than ever before.
The requirements to become a security guard are: be at least 18 years old, be a citizen or resident alien of the U.S., complete the 8 Hr Pre-Assignment Training, submit fingerprints and pass a background check.
Our OSHA online training program is fully approved by the NYC DOB
Certificates of completion will be emailed to students immediately after successfully finishing the class.

The New York Security Guard Act of 1992 (NYSG) requires all security professionals to be licensed and trained to provide safety and protection. This ensures qualified individuals can carry out the duties of security and protection of people and property. Guardian Group Services was one of the very first NYS Security Guard Training Schools approved to offer all Security Courses that are required to complete training as a security guard, online.

We are one of the first NYS-approved Security Guard Training Schools, and this makes us one of the best in the security training school industry.

Our OSHA instructors are certified and the program is fully approved by the NYC DOB. Students who complete online training will also get a DOL card - also known as an OSHA card from the Department of Labor.

To be eligible to work as a security guard in New York, you will need to have completed security guard card training and submit your security guard card application to the NYS Division of Licensing Services. Once you have received your license, you will be able to work as a Security Guard.
