First, you have to take your 8 hour Pre assignment Training Class which we do online. After that, your fingerprints are taken for a background check and your application gets sent to Albany (NYS department of state division of licensing services) so they can finish processing your license.

After you are hired you will also have to get a 16-hour Certification, and you have 90 days from the time of employment to do that.
