ADULT CPR/AED CERTIFICATION ONLINE COURSE
This First Aid, CPR, and AED training will give you the skills you need to recognize and respond to a variety of first aid and medical emergencies. Emergency response is crucial, especially when it comes to cases such as cardiac arrest. In this course, you will learn CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and how to properly use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) to save lives.
This course will introduce you to a variety of first aid, breathing, and cardiac emergencies that can occur in adults. You will learn how to recognize and respond to these emergencies. This CPR/AED certification course will teach you hands-on skills that will help you save a life in case of an emergency. It also meets OSHA/workplace requirements.
Firstly, learners will learn the steps needed to perform basic CPR. This includes assessing the victim’s condition, performing chest compressions and delivering breaths if required. Depending on the individual's skill level, learners can then move onto learning how to use an AED. Here, they'll learn how to identify cardiac arrest victims, diagnose them and deliver appropriate shocks using a defibrillator.
Ultimately, through this course participants are prepared to provide lifesaving first aid in any emergency situation.
Before attending the in-class portion of this course and becoming CPR/AED certified, you must complete the CPR/AED courses online classes. Make sure you have a high quality internet connection and approximately 2 hours and 5 minutes to spare.
You will receive a digital Adult First Aid/CPR/AED certification upon successful completion of the course, which is valid for two years. You will obtain access to the American Red Cross portal, where you can access your self-paced AED/CPR classes online at any time. Additionally, you will be able to access your digital certification card, no need to print and carry it around!
Blended Learning: This is a blend of online learning and an instructor-led classroom session. You will first attend AED/CPR online class and then follow up with an instructor-led classroom skill session.
